I archived all the important pages for one of my social media. I didn't use any of those website crawlers or scraping tools.
I manually save page by page through viewing and saving the page's source code to my drive. I now saved them within this neocities page for internet preservation.
I hate it when people would call my extra step of precaution paranoia. Maybe I am a little bit anxious and sounded like I was antagonizing a platform for doing its darndest to keep peace.
But who are you kidding with to tell me they would ban accounts in a heartbeat just because minor dissent likely violated their TOS. It's a fandom thing, not really political but it's weird to have such a policy against fandom thing.
I'm not going to call names nor do I condone enablers of controversial topic. But the rules were so vague I might get mine deleted without knowing the reason.
archive.today and likes exist, I know. But, I also wanted to control my own content, in my own terms, while keeping privacy in tact. Kind of ironic it may or may not conflict with my stance about Internet preservation but I digress.
Now, why did I took so long? Procastination.
How do I code this?
And I made little progress with customizing my page. Mouse cursor is under its way. I'm just terrible making my own pixel art mouse.
I love the material look. I love dark mode. I avoid those contrasting colors and mouse cursor design I'd nick off a site would conflict with my website's design.
As of today this June, I'm doing little as changing my website's profile picture. It might grow on me or resort to those custom avatar makers because I'm really REALLY unmotivated right now.
Table Broke
My table broke. And my desktop is disoriented. Typing through my mobile phone is frustrating and not as satisfying with coding through VS Studio Code.
My code design is a frankenstein of copypasting with little typing involved. And may or may not nicked some of the users' profile layout from other sites. Teehee~
Revelation: Post-Spinoff Spongebob Sucks
I follow a Spongebob Cartoon reviewer and his criticism against Post-Spinoff Spongebob. It really was bad as I thought it'd be. Too much call back to background character and with the main cast becoming flanderized
I might make a review in a later date.
I'm still upset that my table broke.
Sitemap isn't needed as of now. I wouldn't link my socials to my Neocities yet. Or probably never as I rather compartmentalize my Internet identity.
